Living Sermon find a sermon

Refund policy

This policy explains how billing, cancellations and refunds work for a Living Sermon subscription, operated by Cogniz AI (Pty) Ltd, trading as Living Sermon. It sits alongside our terms of service.

1. How billing works

Living Sermon is a subscription service, billed in advance for each period, monthly or annual as agreed. A pilot period, where offered, is free or nominal and carries no charge to refund. Payments are processed by Paystack.

2. Your cooling-off right

Where the law gives you a cooling-off right for an electronic transaction (under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act), you may cancel a new subscription within seven days of first subscribing and receive a refund of that first payment, less the reasonable cost of any part of the service already provided. Tell us within those seven days through our contact form (or hello@livingsermon.online).

3. Cancelling after that

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next payment and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep the service until then. We do not, as a rule, refund the unused part of a period that is already running, because the service has been available to you for it.

4. When we will refund

We will refund where it is fair to, including:

Annual plans may be refunded on a fair, pro-rata basis where we end the service for a reason that is not your breach.

5. How to ask for a refund

Send us the church name and the payment concerned through our contact form (or by email to hello@livingsermon.online). We aim to respond within five business days and, where a refund is due, to make it within fourteen days, through the original payment method via Paystack.

6. Chargebacks

If something looks wrong on your account, please contact us first. We would almost always rather fix it directly and quickly than have you raise a dispute with your bank or card provider.

7. Contact

Questions about billing or this policy go to our contact form (or hello@livingsermon.online).
